Racine Art Museum, Racine, WI
Someone asked where they might find my work in public collections:
The Racine Art Museum in Wisconsin is one of America’s premier institutions exhibiting crafts. About two years ago they were given a game set that I made in 2001. The square table has a parquetry checkerboard and each of the chair backs has a marquetry picture on the inside and the outside. The focus of the pictures is on hands playing musical instruments (music being a passion of the couple who commissioned the set). There is a piano, a violin, a trumpet, and a clarinet.
